This foldable paper lampshade made of lokta paper is handmade in the traditional way in Nepal. The handmade natural paper is printed in small manufactories in the block printing process and the outer sides are sewn by hand with a thin thread to a square lampshade. Lokta paper is a natural fiber paper which is made from highland plants of the Himalayas. The lampshade has an uneven pleasant surface, which is similar to that of rice paper, and its texture gives off a warm cozy light. The lampshade has 4 threads on the top that converge in the middle to hang it.

Pretty lampshade, could be quiet larger

The lampshade is smaller than I expected, a little larger he could have been. But I find the screen still not bad and will also, after he hangs now anyway, also keep. Purely visually, the hanging lamp looks interesting, the attachment is a little fiddly, a cable tie must hold the threads on the cable. But this is not noticeable.

The material is stable and probably does not break so quickly, here too I am satisfied. The patterns are varied, I have chosen the prayer wheel and find this look absolutely fine. This lamp is something different and stands out from the typical paper lamps.
